Everything you need to know about the ORBITS experience, our features, and our privacy commitments.
About ORBITS
ORBITS is an independent social messaging app created for genuine human connection. It brings together private 1-on-1 and group messaging, shared ambient radio stations, disappearing CHAT-TIME™ notes, an isolated personal media vault, and secure chat backups.
Unlike mainstream platforms, ORBITS has no algorithmic attention feeds, no surveillance advertising, and no data broker profiling.
Features & Everyday Use
ORBITS Radio is an integrated audio player that streams curated ambient, lo-fi, and chill acoustic channels directly inside the app. It plays smoothly in the background while you converse, allowing you and your friends to share the same auditory atmosphere across miles.
Privacy & Peace of Mind
When you create a backup, your conversations and media are safeguarded on your phone using your personal recovery passphrase before being uploaded to your personal cloud storage.
Because your backup is secured before leaving your device, nobody can read your conversations without your private key. When switching phones, simply install ORBITS and restore your history with one tap.
